Do tallow balms expire?

We recommend using our tallow balms within a year of your purchase. All tallow balms are sold with the date they were made located on the bottom of the bottle.

How do I know which tallow balm is right for me?

We have written detailed descriptions of our products and each individual ingredient located in the details section of the product pages. Our tallows are incredible, however reading these descriptions may assist in finding which one would best suit your needs!

Will the tallow smell like a cow or beef?

Although we have a thorough rendering process for our tallow to rid any strong odors, the smell may at times very faintly exist. The only tallow balm that may have a lingering smell is the Simple Balm as it does not contain essential oils. However, our customers have been pleasantly surprised by the floral and sweet smells that our tallow balm has due to the essential oils used. You will not smell like beef, rest assured!
